Real CAD Models
Before a 3D scan can be used in a 3D parametric CAD package, or used to generate CNC toolpaths, it must first be translated into high continuity surfaces and solids. We have the tools and the know-how to reproduce any part as a CAD friendly NURBS surface or parametric solid. Take a look at some of our past projects.
Hand Formed Patterns
See how we recreate new machineable CAD surfaces from legacy hand-cut fiberglass molds, with no drawings or 3D CAD data.
Fast Reference Models
See how we generated fast 3D surface models for a client website from real parts.
Small Parts
See how we scanned a small, intricate plastic part that was too small for the other 3D scanners to see, and reverse engineered to create a useable CAD solid.
A Glass Heart
See how we scanned a human heart model and turned it into a brand new teaching and demonstration tool.
